Engagement Photos at Lannon Park

Great day with a fun couple.  This was one of the very last days of fall we had.  We had to walk around a bit to find trees that still had colorful leaves but all in all, it was a great day.  We managed to get some really great shots!  So excited to be a part of it!

Engagement Photos at Seminary Woods

Ever since I saw some photos down at the St. Francis Seminary, I’ve wanted to shoot some photos there.  We actually went there with the intent on doing fall colors but since we were so near the lake, all the leaves hadn’t changed yet!  Regardless, we got some great shots!  Congratulations on your engagement Lisa and Garry!

Family Photos at Seminary Woods

With all the little hideaways throughout the Seminary Woods property, the girls found great places to pose for me.  It was a BEAUTIFUL day with some great sunlight.  I think next time, I’ll try it earlier in the year so we have more light in the archway.  All in all, it was a great day and I had a lot of fun shooting photos!

Extended Family Photos in Door County, Wisconsin

Every once and a while, I get to be a part of something really special.  Once a year this family gets together in Door County.  It was my pleasure to meet them and record the memory in pictures.  With all the heat we had this summer, they picked the perfect weekend.  The weather was beautiful as was the scenery of this great resort in Sturgeon Bay.

Senior Photos at Milwaukee’s Lakefront

Senior photos

I’ve been enjoying shooting senior photos more and more.  Reminds me of when I got my senior photos and how different things are these days.  Not so many ruffles and many more options!  With technology the way it is, photographers like me can offer all kinds of variety.  Makes it really fun!  So here’s one that we did in South Milwaukee and on Milwaukee’s Lakefront.  Beautiful day for some great photos!

Fun Hair Idea for Photos – especially for high school seniors

Here’s a fun idea for your next photo shoot.  Color your hair with chalk!  It’s not permanent and it’s a fun way to express your own personality.  Here’s a video that show’s you how to do it. Enjoy!

Family Photos in Brookfield, Wisconsin

New photos of the Blackmores at Mitchell Park in Brookfield over the weekend.  If this weather keeps up, I might be able to do photos all the way into October!  🙂  Love the photo with the cotton flying in the air.  The kids LOVED that part.  Gotta admit, so did I!!  I couldn’t narrow down my favorites so there’s lots to share!

Senior Pictures

It’s been a busy photo weekend so far!  One of my high school classmates brought her niece over for some senior photos today.  So nice to reminisce and make new memories for her niece Dana.  Have a GREAT senior year!

Babies are oh so cute!

Can’t believe I forgot to post these photos.  I love it when I get a chance to shoot photos of little babies.  They’re just so willing to have photos taken in ways that older kids would never cooperate!  Thanks to Scott and Amy for allowing me to mark this special occasion with some great shots!  Stay tuned, I still need to create a “parts panel” for this – took some great hand, feet and butt shots especially for that!

Senior Pictures

I don’t often get asked to do senior photos.  Kind of makes me nostalgic to when I got my own senior photos.  Things were a lot different back then!  I remember wearing my prom dress and this peach sweater!  I think the photos are still hanging on my Mom’s wall!  🙂  Let’s hope Nick and his Mom cherish these photos for years to come.  High School is definitely a milestone!  We took these photos by the Lannon Quarry.  Definitely a place to visit for future shoots!

Family Photography

OK, so this is a little late.  I shot these photos back in December and pulled together a holiday card for this family.  It turned out great.  Gives me lots of ideas to prepare for next year!  Take a look!

Family photos on a VERY warm, fall day!

I can’t believe it’s 80 degrees on October 10th!  Amazing.  I had such a good time taking photos on such a warm day.  Allowed us to take advantage of the changing leaves while still accessing the warm weather wardrobe that is always so cute!  Thanks for a great day!

Happy 60th Anniversary!

Another wonderful October day and a great way to celebrate a 60 year anniversary with two incredible people.  May you have many more!

Family photography both outside and in!

We got a lot done in a short period of time!  It was hard to pick out my favorites from this shoot.  We did some outside (luckily without rain) and some in my studio.  The kids were great!  Lots of smiles and incredible cooperation.  Thanks so much for making my afternoon so much fun!

Family photography in Mequon, Wisconsin

Seems like I’m always wondering where the time has gone.  I can’t believe it’s already past the midpoint of September!  Had fun with the Gendelman’s in Mequon yesterday.  Even though it was raining this morning, I’m still enjoying the nice weather and all the green before fall comes!  Thanks for the great photos!

Outdoor Family portraits in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Here’s a new sneak peek.  I spent an afternoon with this family at a park in Menomonee Falls.  We’ve all lived in the area for years and have never seen it!  It was a pleasure to take their photos in this undiscovered area.  Taylor was the perfect fashion model for me striking a pose every time I asked!  Such a fun day!  Thank you for choosing me to take your family photos!

A beautiful morning for family portraits in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start out my morning than spending it with our friends and their family.  We had to reschedule this session due to rain last week and it really did pay off.  What a beautiful day it turned out to be.  And not that hot either!  Thank you Scott and Amy for allowing me to be a part of your family once again!

Welcome to my very first blog post.  And what better way to start it off than a picture of this little cutie!  Always ready to show me a good smile!
